Sister Jaime Gift Ideas
My sister Jaime is a hard one to shop for at Christmas time. So I called up my mom and asked her what Jaime was into. She explained to me that Jaime has been doing a lot of sewing in her spare time but doesn’t have all the good stuff for it. She has four kids and makes many of the clothes the youngest one wears. Having four kids puts a strain on her budget so making clothes saves her money.
So I started looking around for some sewing supplies and found that Michaels or online are really the best places to get supplies. This year I really want to do something special for my sister and I’m thinking about looking at sewing machines. I didn’t know there where so many different ones to choose from. Brands like Singer, Janome, Euro-Pro, Brother, Juki and Rex it’s going to be hard to find the right one. Who knew there are so many with all the different features and whatnot. What happened when the days of a basic sewing kit were enough. I’m guessing those days are long gone and most people just go to a tailor or a dry cleaners nowadays.
Tomorrow I’m going to go down to Sears and see what they have. What I plan on doing is finding out the best ones then going online to find the best price. The best prices are always online and for a high ticket item like this most if not all the place offer free shipping. I just glad Jaime doesn’t read this blog otherwise she would know what I’m getting her.
