New Clothes Are Always Nice
I have a conference I’m going to in a few weeks and I need to buy some new clothes. I don’t have to get too dressed up but I do like to look nice. Today I went out and bought some new designer jeans from Ralph Lauren and a few shirts at Brooks Brothers. I like Brooks Brothers they seem to have a style that is always classic and looks sharp. I think the weather will be cool enough that I should probably pick up a few sweaters as well, you never know and it’s good to be prepared.
Tomorrow I’m going to Nordstoms to look at some shoes. The shoe dept. there is great they have brand names like Geox shoes, Cole Han, Johnston & Murphy and Josef Seibel shoes. The trick is to try them on and pick out the ones you like then go online to see if you can get them for less. This almost always works and I’ve saved lots of money doing this.
I’m also going to need a new sports coat for a dinner I’ve been invited too. I’m thinking about checking out a Kenneth Cole store that’s nearby. I was shopping there a few weeks back and they seemed to have a great selection to choose from. Going to conferences can be fun but it’s important not to dress like a slop and remember that I’m representing my company and image can be important to some.
