Commercial lighting
We are in the process of opening our own clothing store in a few months. Along the way I’m learning all about the different aspects of lighting. Commercial lighting can actually make you sales in your store. Things that you need to ask yourself are: Does my store have enough light? Can the customers see the difference in colors? Are my lighting choices cost efficient? Choosing the wrong lighting fixture can cost you thousands of extra dollars per month and when your opening a new store every bit of savings helps.
My contractor explained to me that one of the most cost efficient ways to save money and time is to find electrical supplies online. It’s so much easier to browse a website than it is to travel to numerous stores looking for the right equipment. Often times the product information on the websites is more information that you would get from a sales person inside a store. My contractor showed me some sites where I can order lighting supplies from that will save me hundreds of dollars each month. He said place like Home Depot are OK but if you look good online you will find better prices.
